You Won’t See Me For A Little While And Here’s Why
Hi you. I just wanted to send a note and let you know that I won’t be creating anything new for this blog for at least a few months.
Why? Because I’ve had a MAJOR shift in my career. You see, I just got laid off from my corporate job. Even though it wasn’t planned, I’m excited!
I’m excited because it means I’m being pushed faster into the direction I want to go.

- build a business
- develop yourself
- and live an enjoyable life through frugal living.
I’m all for that! But it also means that I need to put my priorities where my payday is.
My Priorities
I have three little boys, ages four and under. I have a husband to support. I have been the primary breadwinner in my family for years.
I wanted to make it working from home this year. Remember my goal? I was going to quit my job this year! Now it’s a blessing that I can focus on that so much more.
I created a makeshift office in my basement. I did the math and figured out that I have three months until the money runs out to replace the income I had from my job. It’s going to be a heck of a summer that I’m looking forward to.
Why I Won’t Be Here
Unfortunately, it means that I have to put this blog on the back burner. I SO want to devote more time to it! I love creating things new for you on fulfilling life with determination. Well now you will have the ultimate example of that.
I’ve made the decision to focus on the income I DO have through my Virtual Assistant business, my larger primary blog, and get those flourishing! Then I can come back here and build up something wonderfully new that I love as well!
So don’t fret, it won’t be forever. I wanted to let you know so that you understood.
Paused But Not Forgotten
I remember following a blog a few years back when I started following blogs at the very beginning. And one day I realized that I hadn’t seen any new content from this blog that I liked. Then I just figured I had unsubscribed or something.
Then a few months ago, I got an email from the creator of that blog, and they explained how sorry they were that things had dropped. And it was an email letting me know that bog was no longer going to be active. Darn.
But I don’t want you to think that about THIS blog! I’m ready to prove myself to you with a fantastic case study of how I made things work, so I can show you the proof. So to do that I need to step back from it.
See You In A Few Months
You understand that, right? Priorities take precedence when there are mouths to feed. This is certainly NOT a permanent goodbye.
This is a, “See you later, have an awesome summer, and I’ll catch up with you in a few months.” I will still have content posted on the Facebook page and the Pinterest profile. So you’ll still see things trickle in if you want to follow me there.
I won’t forget you! Let me know that you won’t forget me. It’ll help me know that I made the right decision. Thanks!
